Route 39/743 Corridor Transportation and Land Use Study

Dear Bicycle Advocate,

I hope you are all doing well and are getting in some nice bike rides.

Bicycle South Central PA is asking for your help concerning the Route 39/743 Corridor Transportation and Land Use Study. We are pleased to say that this study includes facilities for bicycle riders and pedestrians, which is an important step toward safer roadways for everyone.

We need to let our State legislators and the Dauphin County Commissioners know how important these improvements are to those of us who ride our bicycles in that area. We especially need letters from Dauphin County residents.

You’ll find sample letters attached, one for legislators and one for the Dauphin County Commissioners. You can send them by mail or copy the text and paste it into an email. We encourage you to personalize the letters by rewriting them in your own words.

Please consider taking a few moments to let the Commissioners and Legislators know that we appreciate their inclusion of bike facilities in the plan.
