Join Bike Harrisburg for one or more activities to celebrate Bike Month!
- HBC Sunday Morning Sociable Ride: Every Sunday 7:15 a.m. Meet on City Island in the parking lot near the Walnut Street Bridge for a casual 8-10 mph ride. Optional breakfast to follow the ride at Roxy’s Café, 274 North Street, Harrisburg. Go to www.harrisburgbicycleclub.org for more information.
- Friday Lunch Rides: Offered by Harrisburg Bicycle Club every Friday at 10:00 a.m. from Five Bridges Health and Fitness, 4450 Oakhurst Blvd, Harrisburg. 30-40 miles @ 12-13 mph pace. www.harrisburgbicycleclub.org

- National Ride a Bike Day– Sunday, May 3. Ride your bike to celebrate National Ride a Bike Day!
- Capital Area Greenbelt Ride: Sunday, May 3 1:00 p.m. Meet at the trailhead behind the City Line Diner, 3302 Derry St. This 20 mile ride goes at a casual pace (10-11 mph) and may stop at points of interest along the way. www.harrisburgbicycleclub.org
- Ride with Your Legislator! Tuesday, May 5 Meet at the Capitol Fountain on Commonwealth Avenue in Harrisburg. 8:00 a.m. The ride will be on the Capital Area Greenbelt for 10 or 20 miles. RSVP to klatham@pahousegop.com if you plan to be there.

- Susquehanna Area Mountain Bike Association Parkway Mountain Bike Rides Join SAMBA members for a mountain bike ride on Saturday, May 9 at 10:00 on the Parkway. - Bike to Work Week: May 11-17 – Ride your bike to work, all the way or part of the way. It’s a wonderful way to get exercise, save money and go green. Log your green commute with https://commutepa.org/bikeandwalk/ and win prizes.

- Bike to Work Day, Fri. May 15. Get your “I Biked to Work Today” badges in Harrisburg at 3rd and North Streets from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. Roxy’s Café is offering a complimentary beverage to all riders.
- HBC Friday Night Social Ride: Fri., May 15 – 6:15 p.m. Park at the former HACC Midtown Campus parking lot on Reily Street between 3rd and 4th Streets in Harrisburg. We’ll take a 10-15 mile tour around the quiet streets of Harrisburg. Dinner afterwards at the Broad Street Market where they are celebrating 3rd in the Burg with several food stands open plus live music. www.harrisburgbicycleclub.org
- Bicycle Fix-It at the Broad Street Market, May 15 5:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. It’s 3rd in the Burg! Recycle Bicycle will do free bicycle repair while teaching the importance of further education for our youth.
- Ghost Bikes at the Capitol, Tues, May 19 9:00 p.m. – Wed. May 20. All day. One white bike is placed on the Capitol steps for each rider who has died while biking in PA during the last year.
- International Ride of Silence, Wed. May 20. This slow, silent ride starts at the USMC parking lot 2995 Green Street, Harrisburg, PA at 6:30 pm and the ride begins at 7 pm. You can also start at Camp Hill Borough Hall, 2145 Walnut Street at 6:30 p.m. and meet up with the other riders at the Capitol. Riders go to the Capitol steps to recognize all the cyclists who were injured or killed on Pennsylvania roadways in 2025. - Free Valet Bike Parking at the Harrisburg Arts Festival: May 23-25, Riverfront Park. Valet parking will be set up at Front and Forster Streets, also Front and Walnut Streets, Courtesy of Recycle Bicycle. Bike to the festival and save $!
- SOMA Block Party May 28 6:00 p.m.-10 p.m. South 3rd Street, Harrisburg Live music, food trucks and pop-up fun! Bike repair and info provided by Recycle Bicycle.
